Hint: it's Bill the drummer...

He used a fake ID to play in bars during the Dead's first years because he didn't turn 21 until May '67!

It seems Weir had a fake ID as well, which worked somehow. (Though Lesh said he looked like a 14-year-old, and he was still going to high school in the Dead's first year.)

there's no way anyone bought that fake id, he looked 12 years old! maybe the bouncers were just friendly.
